TESOL Certificate Accreditation.
There are some Providers who claim various forms of “accreditation” on their sites when it comes to TESOL certificate courses. Universities have already under gone stringent examinations to receive their Education licenses – private TESOL courses may or may not have applied to the two private Accreditation bodies ACDEC (UK) and I-TAA (Asia) – TESOL Asia members are always urged to carefully check the accreditation claims of any TESOL enterprise they are dealing with. TESOL Asia is registered pursuant to the license of the Securities Exchange Commission Philippines trading under the parent license, and complies with all appropriate business laws. TESOL Asia does not run TESOL certificate courses though our sister company, The Asian EFL Journal, (part of the Time Taylor group) licenses TESOL Certificate courses in Korea. The Asian EFL Journal has a Board of over 240 Editors, and is supported by named universities whose details are published on that site.
We recommend in case of doubt you contact ACDEC or ITAA to confirm if a TESOL provider has been evaluated. Members of TESOL Asia may send questions to us here which will be followed up with 48 hours.
